Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Your account is for your personal use only — you may not share, sell, or transfer it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

ConsultingPrep provides AI-powered case-interview practice, including live voice interviews with an AI interviewer, automated scoring and feedback, a case library, and related tools. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

Interview scores, feedback, and analytics are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for practice and educational purposes only. They are estimates, not professional assessments, and may contain errors or inconsistencies.

We do not guarantee any outcome. Using the Service does not guarantee that you will pass any interview, receive any job offer, or achieve any particular result. Do not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional career, legal, or financial advice.

ConsultingPrep is an independent platform. We are notaffiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, or any other consulting firm. All company names, brands, trademarks, and logos referenced on the Service are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification, descriptive, and educational purposes.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Plans are billed in advance on the interval you select (monthly, quarterly, or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation. You may cancel any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the current paid period.
• Price changes. We may change prices or plan features. We will give reasonable notice, and changes apply to billing periods that begin after the change.
• Case allowances. Each plan includes a set number of case interviews per billing period, as shown at checkout. Allowances are consumed as you use them and generally do not roll over.

We may offer a free trial or a free introductory case. Unless stated otherwise, a free trial gives limited access and, if you provided a payment method or later subscribe, converts to a paid subscription according to the plan you selected. We may modify or discontinue free offerings at any time.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused case allowances, or unused time. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@consultingprep.ai and we will review it in good faith.

Our “Refer & Earn” program lets eligible paying subscribers share a personal link. Rewards (bonus cases) are granted only when a genuinely new user signs up through your link and becomes a paying subscriber — a free trial alone does not qualify. Rewards are subject to per-account limits and may not be exchanged for cash. We may modify, suspend, or end the program, and we may withhold or revoke rewards obtained through fraud, self-referral, or other abuse.

Manipulating the referral program or exploiting any bug or loophole to obtain rewards or free cases you are not entitled to is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate and permanent termination of your account — including any active, paid subscription — without refund, in addition to forfeiture of any rewards.

You retain ownership of the content you submit, including casebooks you upload, feedback, and feature requests (“User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and use your User Content as needed to operate and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights to any material you upload and that it does not infringe anyone’s intellectual-property or other rights. Do not upload confidential materials you are not permitted to share. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or provide access to your account to others;
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our cases, content, or software;
• Reverse-engineer, interfere with, or attempt to bypass any security or usage limits of the Service;
• Use the Service to build or train a competing product;
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content;
• Exploit bugs, loopholes, or the referral or free-case systems — including referring yourself, creating multiple or fake accounts, or otherwise attempting to obtain cases, rewards, or access you are not entitled to; or
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.

The Service, including its software, cases, scoring models, designs, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own interview preparation. No other rights are granted.

Live interviews require microphone access and involve recording and transcribing your voice so we can score your performance and show you a transcript. By starting an interview, you consent to this recording and processing as described in our Privacy Policy. If you do not consent, do not start an interview.

Live voice interviews and Framework Gym reps depend on a third-party AI voice provider (currently Google’s Gemini API), and your browser connects to that provider directly. The provider restricts access by geographic region and determines your region from your internet connection’s IP address. If you connect from a region the provider does not serve, live voice interviews will not start — the connection is refused before the interview begins.

This restriction is imposed by the provider, not by us, and we cannot lift or override it. It may also affect you in a supported country if your traffic is routed through an unsupported one — for example via a corporate network or VPN — or if your IP address is geolocated incorrectly. The list of supported countries and territories is maintained by the provider and may change at any time without notice to us; you can review the current list at ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/available-regions.

Because we cannot control or predict this, we do not warrant that live voice features will be available in your location, and availability in a given region is not part of what you are purchasing. A case credit consumed by an interview that fails to start for this reason is restored automatically. If regional restrictions prevent you from using the Service in a way that makes your subscription unusable, contact us and we will address it under our Refunds policy. Features that do not require live voice, such as the case library, typed Framework Gym reps, and your past debriefs, are unaffected.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that AI-generated feedback will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users.

We may suspend or permanently ban your account immediately, without notice and without refund, if we determine in our reasonable discretion that you have engaged in fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the Service — including exploiting bugs, loopholes, or the referral or free-case systems (for example, by referring yourself or creating multiple accounts) to obtain cases, rewards, or access you are not entitled to. This applies even if you are on an active, paid subscription, and no refund will be owed for a termination resulting from such conduct.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to first try to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting us. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Hungary — except that, if you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
